The band that wins the semifinals against every other band that month wins 20 hours of studio time at Jupiter Stuios. Every month we will have a winner. You can apply your coupon with these winnings add even it to the grand prize if your lucky enough to win that.
100 Hours Of Studio Time:
A $5000 value
The first thing we wanted to do to make this prize amazing is include enough time to do a full album the right way. Studio time will be at our top room at Jupiter Studios. Time will be scheduled in 10 hour blocks. Can you imagine having ten 10 hour days to do your album? Like a dream come true. If 100 hours is not enough, you are free to purchase extra time if needed at the normal rates. (See Jupiter Studios web site for more details.)
Please note, after you come up with your studio schedule, all normal Jupiter policies apply, including cancellations. If you don’t show up for a session, it will not be rescheduled and the day will be lost. We will need a week in advance to cancel a studio session.
1000 CDs professionally duplicated:

To add to this amazing package we decided that you would want your professionally recorded, mixed and mastered music duplicated. We wanted you to have enough copies to sell and distribute to get your career started. The winner will receive this 1000 CD package after the CDs. These are not cheap CDR burns on a home do-it-yourself machine. These are the real deal. Real CD printed not burned.
The CD package comes with 1000 full screen-printed CDs with clear jewel case run. It includes full color inserts, 2-panel front insert, 3-color CD face, and full color inside and outside tray card. Wow! Can you imagine 1000 copies of your well produced music ready to sell or give to record labels.
And if you sell out, you can come back to us and get more at the normal price.
Music video:
A $1000 value
So to promote your CD your going to need a professional music video. We are calling this a $1000 value but we are so cost effective that you would have to pay at least $3000 for this quality anywhere else. We wanted to included our best music video package because we feel it is important for bands to promote themselves in this way.
Includes 40 hours of shooting or editing time to complete your video. Extra time can be purchased at an additional $35/hour. We give you one copy per band member. Additional copies can be purchased at the standard rate.
Website design:
A $500 value
In this day, you are crazy not to have your own band web site. Not just a my space page though that is very important too.
So we are including a six page web site, in any html layout style that you would like. Graphics are included, as is writing the copy. The band/artist must bring all required materials for website assembly. Band/artist is also responsible for the cost of web hosting. This is usually only about $6 per month. Flash animation is $35 per hour additional.
Graphic design for CD and website:
A $560 value
Because you are getting a web site and a CD you are going to need a well stocked graphics package to create, mold and shape all of the graphics that are needed to make everything you are getting pop and sparkle.
The Graphic design package includes 16 hours that can be used for the CD design, web site design, and EPK art work. After you bring in your copy and reference material we will help you create the ultimate in design. CD design includes the following: full color CD and jewel case design (unless B&W is preferred), 3-color CD face layout, 2-panel front insert design, full color inside tray card, and full color outside tray card.
Photos package:
A $250 value
So to spice up this package even more we are giving you a photo session to top things off. Your going to need these photos for your web site, EPK, CD cover, any future posters you may create in the future, and need them for any news articles that man be written about you. News papers and magazines like you to have your own photos to send to them so when they do their phone interview, they can get your article to press fast.
This photo session is a four-hour multi-location or in-studio photo shoot, and includes digital photo editing and a data CD of your finished product.
DVD IPK:
A $100 value
Now that you have everything else you will need an Industry Press Kit. This IPK is a DVD presentation of everything that you are. Perfect to give to the news media, record labels, managers, club owners, booking agents etc. It is a very impressive and convient way to represent yourself. It is an industry standard that is unrecognized because of our location in the Midwest. But the winner will show his style with the authoring and design of the bands own personal IPK.
Includes the following items supplied by Jupiter Studios: music video, photos, and final audio. We would love to include your self written biography, show history and up-coming shows list, fun-facts, contact information, and any additional relevant information also. All this is authored on a DVD so when you give it to someone, they have every thing that is you.
All prizes must be redeemed within 6 months of the date you played the Grand Finale. After the 6 month period, all winnings will expire. |
